IN LOVING MEMORY OF OUR DAD 03/03/26
2 TIMOTHY 4:7
"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith."
Today is Dad’s birthday.
It feels different this year. Quieter in some ways, louder in others. We miss his laugh, his steady presence, his jokes that somehow always landed, and the way he made everyone feel like they mattered. He was the kind of man who showed up. For family. For friends. For employees. For strangers. He led with humor, with generosity, and with a work ethic that never took a day off.
He taught us how to treat people. He taught us to work hard. He taught us that kindness costs nothing and means everything. So many of you have shared stories about how he impacted your life — giving someone their first job, offering advice at just the right time, making you feel seen. We always knew he was an incredible father. We didn’t fully understand the depth of his influence until we heard your stories. That has been one of the greatest blessings during this season of grief.
On his birthday, we want to honor him by gathering together the way he would have wanted — with faith, family, laughter, and community.
We invite you to celebrate his life with us:
Saturday, March 14th
UNL Newman Center – St. Thomas Aquinas Church
• 10:00 AM — Rosary
• 10:30 AM — Celebration of Life
• 11:30 AM — Lunch / Reception
We know he would want this to be a time of connection, storytelling, and remembering the good. And there is so much good to remember.
We love you, Dad. We miss you every day. Thank you for showing us how to live.
And thank you to everyone who continues to pray for our family. God is listening.
